Should my dealer cover this undisclosed safety issue??

Foster Padgette: If the car was not safety tested before sold you, then it's your problem now.

Alvaro Oare: In my state this would be considered a safety default of the car for inspection and a sticker would not be issued. If not taken care of, report problem to city/county/state consumers affairs office.

Vernon Martorana: There might be a recall out on it, but if not, then it's your problem.
