Magda Vandergriend: I study some thing a pair of months in the past that i got here upon very exciting. do not remember his call, yet lower back interior the '50s this guy ran for President as a Socialist. some years later he reported that he does not could try this lower back... through fact the Democratic occasion had observed maximum of suggestions of the Socialist occasion that it would not be mandatory to run on a separate Socialist occasion value tag. i could be in want of maximum of those being privatized with some variety of oversight in place. we don't decide for them saving money to the element that the gadget does not paintings. as an occasion, on occasion you may bite the bullet and positioned money into new water strains. Privatized public education ought to basically be an progression. i won't be in a position to believe how ignorant graduates are starting to be. All you reported are starting to be so unwieldy that that is stressful to think of that privatiz! ing must be any worse....Show more
Jonathon Labonne: Those are major cities, and sure to be served by Amtrak and Greyhound. I don't know if either of those is considered to be public transit.Amtrak has a trip planner http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak . You can enter LAX and PHL as the stations, and get a route. Be advised that going by train will generally cost more than flying (unless you have tons of luggage), if only because it takes so long and you will have to buy food along the way. Also, if you want an actual bed to sleep on, instead of sitting up in your chair, that costs, too....Show more
Dana Russian: The Los Angeles public transit system goes by the name of METRO. The train that travels to other states is AMTRAK. METRO RAIL travels within the state/area & hooks up with the Metro buses that travel on the street. You need to contact each one to find out their schedules & prices. There are also private bus companies such as Greyhound & Orange Be! lt. Those are the only ones I am aware of. Amtrak has it's o! wn bus line that will take you to a destination where their trains do not travel to due to track restrictions.Edit: I'm guessing that you are not from the US & I have to tell you that each state & each county has it's own public transportation systems that vary to a great degree. In some areas a bus comes every 10 minutes & they run 24 hours a day. Then there are other areas that have a bus every every hour & never on Sundays or at night. It's a shame we don't have a great system in place yet - but we're very dependent on our personal cars & it will take many years for my country to organize & build a public transportation system that goes from one coast to the other!...Show more
