Bryan Avinger: Just ask Carmax. Brakes are dirt cheap to fix, and a windsheild is pretty cheap as well, so they won't be terrified of that, but they're going to know how you took care of the car, aren't they?

An Cardine: A used car appraiser has to assume the worst because they only get a few minutes to view the car. A windshield will probably ding the value $300-$400 and the brakes, probably $100-$200. If it is a low-value car, I'd just let it go. If the car is worth over $5k, I would fix both items.
Rebeca Mckin: Front pads are soooooooooo cheap and too easy to install. Do it and then you can say "New front brakes".

Lou Rought: I agree with both the guys, sell As Is or replace pads.remember by having that problem they are gonna try to give way less for the car. if you replace the pads which I agree are easy to replace, then! they might offer more for your car.just buy cheap autozone $20 pads are your good.leave the windshield since its more expensive to fix.good luck....Show more
