Rachell Meese: INGREDIENTS1/2 cup milk 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 dash hot pepper sauce 1 cup cornmeal 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x13 inch baking pans. In a small bowl, mix the milk, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. In a medium bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, salt and baking soda. Stir in the milk mixture, and blend until a ball of dough has formed. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for approximately 5 minutes. Divide into halves. Roll each half onto a baking sheet. Cut into small squares or triangles. Bake in the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Rena Pepe: Vegan Sugar Cookie10 tablespoons vegan margarine (room temp-soft)1/2 cup vegan sugar1 1/2 cups unbleached flourvegan egg substitute, enough to equal one egg1 tablespoon vanilla1 tablespoon almond extract1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons vegan sugar2 tablespoons cinnamonCream vegan margarine and vegan sugar. Add egg substitute, enough to equal one regular egg, vanilla, and almond extract.Add dry ingredients and mix well except for the 2 tbls of sugar and 2 tbls of cinnamon. Combine these two ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.Form balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon.Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 F for about 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden....Show more
