Dedra Furguson: Hi all! i was scammed by the 2 companies in my title. I applied for a loan with them. They called and told me i was approved. They faxed me the loan doc and it looked real. It ! had all the info and biding law wording. I faxed it back and they told me i had 2 come up worth some type of collateral..car, boat, house co-signer or pay 5 months up front. I chose to pay 5 months up front. They told me we are worried you will run with our money. They tell you to transfer the money from a money gram location to them because it was safe. I did it and and they said you will receive your loan within 72 hours and we mailed you a check for your money gram fee. 72 hours came and went so I called back they told me it would be 2 or 3 more days because it had to go through the Federal reserve. I knew this wasn't right since it was not international. I called my bank to verify and they said you are right. It goes through the federal reserve if it is international or a large amount and only should be 3 days tops. The next day i kept calling the loan company and nobody ever answered. I decided to do some investigation online and come to find out other had done the sam! e thing. I saw other people had done this with other companies so i dec! ided to check out their site and call..same automated system. No extensions except 1 person and customer service.
